Lecture 12.3 - Stability, the traditional way...

In this lecture, we look at stability when we cannot do anything about the inner workings of the device. In this case, we can only change the terminations of the device at either the input or output to ensure stability. We find a range of stable impedance for device termination to ensure either conditional stability, or unconditional stability.
