My first 6 hours in João Pessoa, PB

After the 35 minute ride from Jacumã, I arrive in the capital of Paraiba Brazil- João Pessoa! Immediately I was impressed with the amazing beaches, the many hotels, the friendly people, all the clean streets and many great food options. It was difficult to decide where to begin, so I just started walking north and south along the beach while my room was being prepared for check in. My hotel location was perfect as I seemed to be close to everything. Also, I could not have been more happy with my view of the ocean. Aside from one or two people at reception, all the staff were friendly and welcoming. There were many police in sight, and I felt very safe here. This was the cleanest city I have visited with Vitoria as a very close second. Clearly, tourism revenue generated is put back into the city for infrastructure and maintenance. My first impressions of Joao Pessoa were very positive! I will probably have another 4-5 videos of Jampa, plus another 1 or 2 from my day trip to Recife and Olinda.
