Banyule Recycling - Truck 75 (BUCHER Loan Truck)

Safe to say when I went out this morning I was expecting to find this. Banyule has had driver shortages for around 2 years now and recently since getting the 7 new Isuzus Bucher had a shortage of trucks. This is mainly due to all the issues the new trucks have had which has held up the workshop from maintenance on the other full time trucks and caused a shortage of available trucks for the time being. As the new Buchers have been playing up, Bucher loaned Banyule this Side-loader (Truck 75) to help out. The truck has seen better days. The powered steering is stuffed and doesn’t work and the arm has a mind of its own at times. It’s the same model as Gary’s previous truck (90461) so it was nothing new for him other than the joystick which was a different type to his truck. The number plate would suggest the truck is from South Australia but other than that I’m not sure of its origin. I shot this in two parts, the start of Gary’s load around 6am doing the roadworks area and then later starting his second load around 10am. Hope you enjoy!
