🇻🇳 NINH BÌNH — THE FULL ADVENTURE | BÁI ĐÍNH, GOAT MEAT, TRÀNG AN & NIGHTLIFE

Welcome to my Ninh Bình adventure. I originally filmed this as four separate parts, but I've put the whole experience together here so you can follow the journey from beginning to end. We start at Bái Đính Pagoda, one of the largest Buddhist complexes in Vietnam. The site combines the ancient Bái Đính temple with the enormous newer complex, filled with huge Buddha statues, hundreds of Arhat statues, temples and some seriously impressive Vietnamese Buddhist architecture. Then came the food. I tried Ninh Bình goat meat and had my first Vietnamese buffet. I'll be honest — the goat-meat experience didn't exactly go according to plan, and that first buffet was probably about a four out of ten for me. 😂🐐 But that's part of travelling. Not everything is going to hit the mark, and I was still very much learning Vietnamese food and figuring out what I liked. Then the scenery completely changed. I explored Tam Cốc, famous for its limestone mountains, rice fields and three caves carved through the landscape. It's one of those places where the scenery genuinely doesn't look real. And then came Tràng An. This was one of the real highlights of the trip — travelling by boat through the incredible limestone karst landscape, moving between caves, mountains and waterways. Tràng An is part of the UNESCO-listed Tràng An Landscape Complex, a landscape shaped by limestone peaks, valleys and an intricate network of waterways and caves. And then, because apparently beautiful mountains, temples and rivers weren't enough for one trip... Nightlife. 😂 My first hotel stay in Tam Cốc, the market, and eventually a proper night out at Last Call Bar. So this is the complete Ninh Bình experience: Bái Đính. Goat meat. Vietnamese food. Tam Cốc. Tràng An. Caves. Mountains. Rain. Markets. Music. And one hell of a night out. This was only one chapter of the journey — but Ninh Bình definitely left its mark.
