Jacob: Name in the Wound (Official Lyric Video)

Alone by the river Jabbok, Jacob wrestled through the night with the Angel of the Lord he could not overcome. By morning his hip was wounded, his grip still unbroken, and his name was changed forever. A song about wrestling with God, refusing to let go, and the blessing that leaves a limp. 📖 Inspired by Genesis 32:22–32 "I will not let thee go, except thou bless me." (Genesis 32:26) "Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed." (Genesis 32:28) 🎧 "Jacob: The Name in the Wound" is available now on Spotify and all major platforms. 💿 From the album OUT OF THE WHIRLWIND, out October 30th 2026. 🔔 Subscribe for more of Scripture's stories told through song.
