A Black Republican woman was escorted out of a Ken Paxton campaign event in San Antonio. She was devastated, humiliated, and understandably angry. But now she's doubling down on her loyalty to the Republican Party. Social media has been brutal toward her. I'm taking a different approach. I was a Republican in Texas for 40 years. I knew the people and the players, had access, and moved in circles most people never see. When I walked away, I learned just how conditional some of those relationships were.
