Notes Girls is a fictional Japanese girls band project creating 90s-00s style J-ROCK, alternative rock, shoegaze, and grunge music.
This is Track001 "The World Called Night (夜という世界)" featuring Nagisa on lead vocals and bass.
A high-energy yet melancholic grunge-pop anthem crafted to pull you instantly into the depth of the night. The definitive entrance track of our sound. In this 4-piece band, all members take turns as lead vocalists, each weaving a different fragment of the night.

Notes Girlsは、90年代〜00年代の日本のインディーズ・オルタナティブロック、シューゲイザー、グランジの空気感を現代に紡ぐ架空のガールズバンドプロジェクトです。
こちらは Track001『夜という世界(The World Called Night)』。

【📝 English Lyrics】
The house keys jangle.
A door at 2:00 AM.
Only my footsteps
echo so hollow, amplified in the quiet.
A vending machine on the corner;
its white glare, blindingly sharp.
The bus stop, hollow and deserted.
Inside my pocket, a hand burning hot.
Welcome to the world they call "The Night."
It feels like the flip side of an unknown map.
As if I’ve turned into someone a little bit wicked,
holding this frantic chest tight, all to myself.
While the world is fast asleep,
I hold my breath and just keep walking.
Through the convenience store glass,
the magazines glare right at me.
At the distant intersection,
the blue and red lights blink out their codes.
Shadows of telephone lines sway.
A dog barks, sudden and sharp.
"We could go anywhere right now,"
only my shoelaces seem to know.
This is the world they call "The Night."
As if the continuation of yesterday has snapped clean off.
Feeling like I’ve stumbled into a tiny secret,
my breath goes shallow, a laugh almost spilling out.
With a face I’ve never shown a soul,
I step right over the cracks in the pavement.
Suddenly stopping in front of the park.
Only the swings are playing with the wind.
From the very bottom of the darkness,
I swear I heard someone call my name.
Should I go back?
Should I press on?
Only my heart is sprinting ahead.
Only my shadow is left behind, failing to keep up.
This is the world they call "The Night."
Leaving the "me" of the daytime far behind.
Cradling this cold streak of fear tight to my chest,
I throw my shoulders back, like some kind of explorer.
Before the world opens its eyes,
I’ll try taking just one more step.
This is the world they call "The Night."
Looking back, even the lights of home have vanished.
Feeling like I’ve grown up, just a fraction.
On trembling legs, I move straight ahead.
I’ve got to remember this path,
burning this very first night into my mind forever.
