Dentist Watches The Most Cursed Teeth Clips Online

Overbite or overjet? An orthodontist explains the 'overbite final boss', plus cleaner fish, DIY veneers and whether apples clean teeth. Orthodontist Dr. Ben Winters reacts to viral dental clips, from fish cleaning a diver's teeth and homemade veneers to tooth polish, a record-deep overbite, apples as nature's toothbrush, a crowded case, braces with nearly every appliance, a coconut oil whitening routine and a black tongue. He says people mix up overbite, how much the upper front teeth overlap the lower ones, with overjet, how far they stick out. A normal overlap is about 10 to 20%; hers is 100%, an impinging bite where the lower teeth reach the roof of the mouth. He would fix it with braces, rubber bands and small bite stops behind the front teeth, since leaving it can lead to TMJ issues, chipping and wear. He also explains that cleaner fish eat plaque, that moldable pellets are meant for a chip or a single tooth, and that apples don't really clean teeth: their sugar and acid still feed Strep mutans, the bacteria behind cavities. In the crowded case, springs opened space to pull in blocked teeth and bonding enlarged a small lateral incisor. Baking soda is low in abrasion but won't whiten, and hydrogen peroxide takes about 10 to 21 days. • Overbite is how much the front teeth overlap; overjet is how far the upper teeth stick out. • Apples don't replace brushing; their sugar and acid can still contribute to cavities. • Baking soda is low-abrasion and lifts mild stain, but whitening takes hydrogen peroxide. • Black hairy tongue comes from bacterial overgrowth, sometimes after frequent peroxide rinses; see a dentist.
