Awesome Slap Bass Riff [RHCP] - Get Up And Jump! (tabs and tutorial)

Today we’re going to look at a classic slap line from the master of punk funk slap bass, Flea. Get Up and Jump is from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers debut album way back in 1984 and is the perfect example of Flea’s hard hitting, punk infused slap bass playing. It’s fast, it features a ton of ghost notes and it’s likely to rip your popping finger to shreds. 🎸 Sign Up For The 'TalkingBass Network' Free Membership: https://bit.ly/3B611N2 💻 TalkingBass Website: https://bit.ly/3840VJl 👨‍🏫 TalkingBass Premium Courses: http://bit.ly/2qNES3I 📱 Follow Talkingbass: ► Instagram:   / talkingbass.  . ► Facebook:   / talkingbassnet   Timestamps: 0:00 Intro 1:05 Demonstration Riff 1 1:20 Breakdown 4:21 Ghost Note Alt Technique 5:33 Slap Technique 7:41 Lesson Material 8:41 90bpm Demo 9:00 110bpm Demo 9:14 130bpm Demo 9:24 Riff's 2 and 3 #slapbass #flea #rhcp ===================================================== Bass Gear: ► Enfield Lionheart Bass Guitar ► SIMS Super Quad Pickups ► DR bass strings ► Levy Leathers Bass Strap ► GRBass Bass Amps
