Colorado Rockies @ Chicago Cubs - May 4, 2003 - Alex Gonzalez walk-off, Joe Borowski, Mark Bellhorn

Remember that crazy stretch when Alex S. Gonzalez kept hitting walk-off homers for The Beloved in 2003? He did it three times in 10 days and this game was No. 2 for No. 8. It would be nice if we could remember Gonzo for these rare feats but true Cub fans know he blew Game 6 of the NLCS and gets a free pass because Moises Alou and Dust Bag blamed a spectator. Ahh, but that's still five-and-a-half months away so enjoy A-Gone's pinch-hit, walk-off homer. What's also to enjoy? Our hero Joe Borowski picking up his first win of the 2003 season on his 32nd birthday! "Oh, to be 32 again." - Chip Caray. Box Score: https://www.baseball-reference.com/bo...
