Roy Callender became one of the most underrated bodybuilders of his generation. After stepping away from bodybuilding and even trying professional wrestling, he made an incredible comeback and returned to competitive bodybuilding at an elite level.
At the 1978 Mr. Olympia, Roy shocked the bodybuilding world by finishing 3rd overall, behind Frank Zane and Robby Robinson.

He continued competing against some of the biggest names of the Golden Era, including Franco Columbu, Chris Dickerson, Frank Zane and Tom Platz. Even at 44 years old, Roy returned to the Mr. Olympia stage and finished inside the Top 5.
