Ode to Autumn! OPUS 216 celebrates the season with Vivaldi for Tuesday Musical

Tuesday Musical members were on the receiving end of musical joy with a performance by the Northeast Ohio based OPUS 216 in October. The group opened with Vivaldi's "Four Seasons: Autumn" that flowed into "Autumn Leaves" originally written by Joseph Kosma in 1945 and then translated for American audiences by Johnny Mercer. Founded in 2012, OPUS 216's musicians for this performance are Ariel Karas, violin; Victor Beyens, violin; Brian Slawta, viola and Katarina Elise, cello. The group performs for hundreds of public and private events annually across northesat Ohio and beyond. Directed by Ariel, OPUS 216 specializes in dynamic, multi-genre performances and gives countless community-based concerts for children, seniors, libraries and nonprofits, along with weddings, parties and private events. OPUS 216 participates in Tuesday Musical's Decompression Chamber Concerts, launched in 2017. The series brings free, 45-minute concerts by chamber musicians to staff and clients at social service agencies, factories, hospitals, government offices and other high-pressure sites. Group members have extensive professional experience with film and audio recording sessions and thrive on redefining the career of independent musicians. They can be found online at www.opus216.com and on Spotify, Apple Music and social media.
