In this episode, I finally get the ridge beam steel into position—completely on my own! Lifting massive steel RSJ’s by yourself is a monumental task. I’m not gonna lie, It was hazardous and highly sketchy at times, but deeply rewarding once it was finally up, level, bolted together and secure. In this video, I install concrete pad-stones, break down the solo lifting strategy, the safety precautions, some close calls, and how I managed the heavy lifting without a crew.
