Into Hida, Gifu — then the climb. The Abo Pass at 1,790 m is the divide between the Sea of Japan and the Pacific. The tunnel took the traffic; this is the old road it replaced — narrow, steep, and closed for half the year. Autumn had only just begun. Still mostly green, with the first reds and yellows on the high slopes. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ▍ KEY POINTS ／ 要所 Toyama Station ／ 富山駅 Route 41, Jinzu River gorge ／ 国道41号 神通峡 Inotani — the old provincial checkpoint ／ 猪谷関所 Hida, Gifu ／ 飛騨（岐阜） Route 158 toward Hirayu ／ 国道158号 平湯方面 The old Abo Pass, 1,790 m ／ 古来の安房峠（旧道） Azumino, Nagano ／ 安曇野 ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ▍ TOPICS ／ このチャンネルの内容 Japan drive ・ Japanese Alps ・ mountain passes ・ autumn colours ・ fall foliage ・ coastal roads ・ expressway at night ・ sunrise drive ・ snow country ・ 4K 60fps ・ POV driving ・ engine sound ・ ASMR ・ no music ・ slow TV ・ relaxing drive ・ ドライブ映像 ・ 車載動画 ・ エンジン音
