Don't Sleep Without These Psalms of Blessing – Protection From All Evil

Rest beneath the Psalms of blessing as you lay the day down and ask for God's protection through the night. 🕊️ These original sung paraphrases draw on Psalm 121, Psalm 23, Psalm 46, Psalm 103 and other Psalms, with brief lines of Scripture woven in, and they carry one steady promise: the Lord shall preserve you from all evil. Warm baritone, tenor and alto voices sing over a gentle harp in the spirit of King David, joined by soft cello, strings and piano, a quiet choir at moments, and a few half-whispered spoken prayers. There is no percussion and the swells stay soft, so the music can play quietly beside your bed as you settle into sleep and deep rest. If your heart feels anxious or weary, let each refrain become a simple prayer for protection, mercy and forgiveness before you close your eyes. You can also come back to these Psalms of protection for quiet evening prayer, reflection or worship at home. May these songs help you trust God's protection over you and those you love, and rest in the presence of God until morning. #psalms #psalmsforsleep #protection #blessing #worship #scripture #kingdavid #harp #prayer #sleep #peace
