#mclaren #sparkplugs #mclaren650s In this video, we take on the challenge of replacing the spark plugs and ignition coils on my 2015 McLaren 650S Spider. Known for being especially difficult to work on—particularly the Spider variant—this job is often quoted at 12 to 16 hours of labor by mechanics, who frequently opt to remove the entire engine instead But we're doing things the hard way. With the engine still in, Edward and I tackle the job head-on, learning all the tips and tricks along the way. We also get advice along the way from from Kevin at Supercar Garage Atlanta. While we’re at it, we perform a full compression test on all eight cylinders and use a borescope to inspect the combustion chambers, giving us more insight into the condition of my McLaren M838T engine.
