What a great event! I had the chance to attend the Red Bull Showrun in Zagreb, Croatia on September 27, 2026, and it was an incredible afternoon of Formula 1 cars, drifting, motorcycles, burnouts, donuts and plenty of tire smoke right in the middle of the city. One of the coolest parts of the experience was getting into the paddock before the show and seeing the cars and motorcycles up close. It was also a chance to see some of the drivers and riders away from the track and interact with them before the action started. David Coulthard and the legendary Red Bull Racing RB7 were obviously one of the biggest attractions. Hearing that championship-winning V8 Formula 1 car screaming down Ulica grada Vukovara was pretty incredible. But for me, some of the most entertaining parts of the show were the drift cars and motorcycles. There was constantly something happening, and the skill and car control were unbelievable. Mad Mike was one of the standout personalities of the entire event. He was incredibly friendly and accessible to the fans in the paddock, and then put on a great show once he got behind the wheel of his rotary-powered Mazda. And Sam Sam Thubane was just crazy! His spinning demonstration in the BMW E30 was one of the wildest things I saw all day. At one point he actually climbed completely out of the car while it continued spinning around the track. Seeing that happen right in front of me was unbelievable. Motorcycle stunt rider Arūnas Gibieža added another dimension to the show with wheelies, stoppies and other stunts, while the Red Bull Driftbrothers filled the street with tire smoke in their BMW M4s. Croatia's own Rimac even made an appearance, wowing the hometown crowd with the incredible Nevera R. Built and engineered in Croatia, the all-electric hypercar produces an astonishing 2,107 horsepower from its four-motor drivetrain. It can hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 1.72 seconds, reach 300 km/h (186 mph) in 7.89 seconds and is capable of a top speed of up to 430 km/h (267 mph). 🇭🇷⚡ More than 10,000 people came out for Zagreb's first Red Bull Showrun, and the atmosphere was fantastic. It was really cool to see a motorsports event like this take over the streets of Zagreb — and even better to be able to get close to the cars, motorcycles and personalities behind them before the show. This video is a collection of some highlights from the day.
