teamLab Borderless Tokyo | A World of Light & Color | October 2024

Step inside a world of light, color, and imagination! Come along on my October 2024 visit to teamLab Borderless at the MORI Building DIGITAL ART MUSEUM in Azabudai Hills, Minato, Tokyo. What is teamLab? Founded in Japan in 2001, it brings together artists, programmers, engineers, animators, and architects to combine art, technology, and nature. At Borderless, digital artworks move between rooms, interact with visitors, and continually change—you become part of the experience. This location opened in February 2024, replacing the original Borderless museum in Odaiba. My adventure began before I even got inside! I had booked a timed-entry reservation and allowed plenty of time, but I struggled with the signage. Nobody I asked seemed to know where the entrance was. With only minutes left, I was running from block to block. Finally, I spotted other people jogging, followed them up some stairs, and found the entrance line. Thankfully, I made it in time! Join me as I explore the different rooms within this remarkable museum.
