I Found a 100+ Year Old Watch in This Dirty Storage Unit Lot?!

Find these on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/shop/TheLostBrooch I finally went through the entire box of watches I picked up from a neighbor’s storage-unit cleanout and there were some VERY interesting finds hiding in here. 👀 When I originally got this lot, the watches were packed into old cardboard boxes and baggies, covered in dirt. After cleaning and sorting them, I finally sat down to go through them one by one. There’s a little bit of everything: newer watches, vintage pieces, different makers, watches that need repair…and then we got to the really old ones. ⌚ A beautiful 1920s ladies’ wristwatch ⌚ And what may be an extremely early Patria Trench Watch that could date to around the 1890s That second one needs a LOT more research before I’m comfortable dating it definitively, so consider the investigation officially open.
