Testing a Baldwin Model E Soundboard

This board had a few problems: Cracks not too bad, but glue was weak at the rim. Had a little crown, but it had suffered with severe downbearing. Chladni test shows that the functioning area of the board was slow in response and small. Lesson i learn from this board, is that you can't always go by crown. This piano is getting a new board.
