Sustainability Seminar Series: Illegal Dumping Program

What if fighting illegal dumping wasn’t just enforcement—but collaboration? In this Hugo Neu Sustainability Seminar, NJDEP’s Community Collaborative Initiative team shares how their Illegal Dumping Camera Program is helping turn dumping grounds into cleaner, safer neighborhoods. Blending smart technology with community partnerships, the program tackles environmental harm while prioritizing equity, privacy, and trust. Watch to see how “tech + community” is reshaping environmental protection on the ground. Presented by the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Ocean Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology.
