In this video, we take you to a 25-acre polyhouse farm in Hosur, where Mobitech has implemented a complete Irrigation & Fertigation Automation solution. We had previously shown this farm when the installation work was in progress. After 5 months of operation, we are back to show you how the complete automation system is running in the field. 🚜 What Have We Automated? 💧 Complete Irrigation Automation 🌱 Fertigation Automation 🧪 9-Tank Fertilizer Management ⚙️ 9 Fertilizer Injectors 🔬 pH & EC Management 🔄 Automatic Filter Backwash 📊 Water Flow & Volume Monitoring 🌧️ Rainwater & Borewell Water Management 📱 Remote Monitoring & Control 🧪 Precision Fertigation Automation The farm uses 9 different fertilizer tanks for floriculture and precision nutrient management. Each tank is equipped with: • IBC fertilizer tanks • Agitators for proper nutrient mixing • EPDM valves • Individual injectors • Secondary filtration • Precision nutrient injection Before the fertigation program starts, the agitators automatically mix the nutrients to ensure uniform concentration. The required fertilizer volume is then injected and delivered to the plants through the main irrigation pipeline. The system can support both organic and chemical fertilizer applications. ⚡ Complete Automation Control The electrical and automation panels control the entire irrigation and fertigation process, including: • 10 HP irrigation pump • Automation Controller • MCCB protection • Agitator control • FRT Fertigation Controller • pH & EC monitoring • Pre-mixing and post-mixing • Automated fertigation programs Farmers can manage irrigation and fertigation programs through the Mobitech application using Android or iPhone. 🔄 Automatic Filter Backwash The filtration system includes sand filters and disc filters with automatic backwash. The system monitors the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet. When the pressure difference reaches the configured level, the automatic backwash process is activated. 💧 Flow meters are also installed to monitor the volume of water supplied to the field. 🌧️ Rainwater & Borewell Water Management The farm pond receives water from rainwater and borewell sources. A floating motor system is used inside the pond. As the water level rises or falls, the floating motor moves along with the water level, making it easier to maintain while reducing the risk of damage to the pond lining. A water-level indicator is also installed to monitor the available water volume. 📡 Dcon Ag AIR – Wireless Automation Since the farm has multiple motor and irrigation locations, we have installed Dcon Ag AIR for centralized wireless automation. With this system, farmers can control multiple: ✅ Motors ✅ Valves ✅ Irrigation programs ✅ Sensors ✅ Fertigation systems The system supports GSM and Wi-Fi connectivity, enabling remote monitoring and control without requiring multiple SIM cards for different locations. 🌶️ The Result – Healthy Capsicum Plants The farm is cultivating capsicum under polyhouse conditions.
