Still easily my favorite car in the game as far as how dynamic it is to drive. Compared to Cyber GrandPrix 2, this game really requires some finesse as far as steering inputs go.
Project YNP's "Cyber Grand Prix Championship" (self-ascribed as 'Cyber Grandprix Championship') is a non-licensed, 2001 to April 2003 fanmade racing game set in the Future GPX Cyber Formula universe. With original circuit layouts, and engaging (though rather heavy) physics, it is the first, and probably, the most important, stepping stone in the road that would eventually lead to CYBER GRANDPRIX 2 ~Boost Pack~ in December 2004.
Cyber Grand Prix Championship saw a very limited release, before being banned from sale by SUNRISE (IP holders of Cyber Formula). However, the team at Project YNP was able to, eventually, retool Grand Prix Championship, and get the approval of SUNRISE to sell it as an officially licensed product, now under the name of "SIN CYBER GRAND PRIX" (2003).
It is thanks to the very limited release of Cyber Grand Prix Championship that me and a group of friends were able to get our hands on an actual disc copy of the game, specifically, of Version 1.00 - dated April 1st, 2003, just before SUNRISE swung the gavel down on this game. The game plays very well, and it only requires "a small amount" of DxWrapper for D3D8 applications to be relinquished of its forced-fullscreen, lackluster-resolution-for-2026 standards. Impressively, it's super stable, and while the handling is definitely hard to get used to after playing so much CYBER GRAND PRIX 2, some cars - like NEMESIS here - are actually just beautiful to drive.
Overall, Cyber Grand Prix Championship is a game worth playing, and certainly, in my eyes, a beautiful chapter in Project YNP's development history.
