Super Groovy Bass Lines with Just 3 Notes!

In my last video I mentioned how you can create killer bass lines with just 3 notes. This video will dive deeper into that concept. It's a good practice to try to limit yourself sometimes, and try to make whatever you are using to be a musical as possible. This lesson we look at just using the Root, 5th, 7th, and then octave (so you could argue that's 4 notes) and only using those notes to come up with groovy bass lines. When you think about it, this is really what most musicians want the bass player to be focused on anyways as it outlines the chords, but also leaves harmonic space for other voices.
