In this episode, we dive into the brand-new era of dearALICE and their second EP, dancefloorKILLA, released on September 25, 2026. After introducing themselves with their debut EP bitterSWEETsummer, the British boy group return with a sharper, more energetic sound designed to capture the excitement, movement and adrenaline of a night on the dancefloor. Formed through the BBC’s Made in Korea: The K-Pop Experience and shaped by an intensive 100-day training programme in Seoul with SM Entertainment, dearALICE occupy a distinctive space between British pop and K-pop. Their new EP reflects that hybrid identity while showing how much the group has grown creatively over the past year. The members have become increasingly involved in choreography, visual concepts and other creative elements, while also developing a much clearer idea of the sound they want dearALICE to represent. dancefloorKILLA is a seven-track project built around electronic-leaning, dance-heavy pop. The tracklist opens with the title track, followed by Body On, Home With You, Animal, Close, Drool, and Body On featuring SWEET REVENGE and ENOLA BEDARD. The EP runs for around 20 minutes, making it a compact but deliberately high-energy statement. The title track itself was the final song added to the project. According to the group, once they heard the finished mix, they felt it represented where dearALICE were at that moment both musically and visually, making dancefloorKILLA the natural title for the entire EP. The styling also continues the distinctive typography established by dearALICE and bitterSWEETsummer, connecting the new release to the group's existing musical world. The EP also brings together several different sides of their sound. “Home With You” connects their new dance-oriented direction with polished pop and R&B influences, while “Body On” expands the project through collaborations with SWEET REVENGE and dancer/choreographer Enola Bedard. The group had previously released both the collaborative version and their own “Boys’ Version,” making the song an important part of the build-up to the EP. dearALICE are totally ready to break the charts and music industry with their amazing sound and super choreos with their new SMASH project dancefloorKILLA! Don't miss it!
