THE JOB BARISTAS HATE

POV: You own a café… and today you’re on dish duty. 🧽☕ Usually you see me working the front of my café in Portugal, but today we were two people short in the kitchen. So instead of the espresso machine, I spent the day in the back: washing endless dishes and making toasties and pastries to keep everything running. This is the side of café life nobody films. No latte art, just the dish pit, the rush, and keeping it all together behind the scenes. Have you ever worked the dish pit?
