In this video: How BMIC 2026’s PMGC slots work: the champion gets a PMGC Gauntlet slot and the runner-up gets a Group Stage slot, and why the Gauntlet is the better route. The three teams already qualified: iQOO Soul (Gauntlet), NS RedForce (Group Stage) and Valor (Group Stage). The golden rule that one team can hold only one PMGC slot. If Soul win, their extra Gauntlet slot moves to the runner-up and the Group Stage slot moves down to the next eligible team. If Soul and NSR finish first and second, NSR upgrade to the Gauntlet and KRX get Korea’s regional slot. If Soul finish second, the Group Stage slot goes to the third-placed eligible team. If NS RedForce win, they upgrade to the Gauntlet and KRX get their old Korean slot. If Valor win, they upgrade and Reignite get Japan’s slot. If NSR or Valor finish second, they keep their existing slot and the extra one moves down. If Soul, NSR and Valor all finish in the top three, the slot can drop to fourth.
