Sunday, September 20, 2026 — Early Morning Prayer: Start Today Expecting God to Move

Start your Sunday, September 20, 2026, by coming before God with expectation, faith, and an open heart. This powerful early morning prayer is for anyone who needs fresh strength, renewed hope, divine guidance, and the courage to believe that God is still working even when you cannot yet see the full picture. Do not let yesterday's disappointments determine what you expect from today. Bring your plans, prayers, family, decisions, challenges, and unanswered questions before God. Ask Him to strengthen your faith, order your steps, open your understanding, and help you recognize His work in the ordinary moments of this day. Sometimes God moves by changing circumstances, and sometimes He moves by changing the person standing in the circumstances. He can give you wisdom where there was confusion, peace where there was anxiety, courage where there was hesitation, and clarity where you have been waiting for direction. As you pray this Sunday morning, release the need to control every outcome and choose to expect God with humility and faith. Let your expectation be rooted not in a specific outcome, but in the character and faithfulness of God. If this prayer blesses you, like this video and subscribe for daily Christian morning prayers and faith-filled encouragement. Write “Amen” in the comments and share ONE thing you are expecting God to help you with today. May you enter this Sunday with a peaceful heart, renewed faith, and an expectation that keeps you attentive to God's presence and direction.
