Visiting the East Somerset Railway July 2019

This heritage railway is one of my favourites. Whenever we have visited, it's been a warm summer's day, which lends a calm, sleepy feel to the whole place. Having taken lots of photos here in the past, I kick myself now for not including details in this film of Cranmore station and in particular, the rare telephone box/post office on the platform. The staff and volunteers here are always so friendly, and you get a real sense that they are passionate about what they do. It's hard to imagine what would have become of this little line without the late David Shepherd.
