The Man Left Behind in the Alcatraz Escape

In June 1962, three men vanished from Alcatraz and were never found. But there was a fourth man. Allen West helped plan the whole escape, and on the night it happened, he was still stuck inside his own cell. This is his story, and the story of the night the "escape-proof" prison was beaten.
