Building Legend’s Garden 🌱 Raised Beds, Irrigation & Worm Bins | Dirt Therapy Ep. 2

Legend’s Garden is coming together—one load of soil, one bed, and one redo at a time. 🌱 I put these beds together at the height of my grief over losing Legend, and filming was the last thing on my mind. In this second Dirt Therapy video, I’m bringing you along for the work that followed: filling the raised beds, adding irrigation, topping up soil after it settled, and putting in worm bins. I hauled home neighborhood tree trimmings for a hugelkultur-style base, layered in compost and raised bed mix, and kept figuring things out as I went. You’ll also see the elevated spinach and salad beds—and Myth enjoying a little water play along the way. This came together over about two weeks. Gardening gave me somewhere to put all that love for my boy and the motivation to keep going. What’s something you’ve had to redo in your garden? Leave me a comment—I’d love to hear your story. If you enjoy spending time in the dirt with me, please like this video and subscribe to Dirt Therapy.
