Rolling Sky: Cave「Fanmade Level 1」

[Recorded: 28/03/2023] Enjoyment: 7/10 The first fanmade level of Rolling Sky. Any game that implements fanmade content into the base game I respect, I really appreciate the devs being so involved with the RS community - it also is just very interesting to see fan interpretations of gameplay and design. Cave is a banger level too! The design & song choice reminds me of a very early RS level, and who doesn't like nostalgia? Feels like I've been taken back to 2016 for a bit. In terms of gameplay, Cave is very fast, and it features many precise movements on top of that too - the speed in particular is why I find Cave much harder to sightread than other levels. The difficulty also noticeably increased in the green section from 64-75% with a couple of arrow platform setups that can take quite a bit to get used to. As much as I am frustrated with how the level plays, I can't help but applaud both the creator for making this and the devs for including it in the game. #rollingsky
