What to Expect During Your Stay in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU)

Patients are often admitted to the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) at American Family Children's Hospital for EEG recording in order to diagnose or treat epilepsy. The tests record brainwaves to help find which part of the brain a child’s seizures are coming from.
