The Oasis — A Private Luxury Resort at Home

Welcome to The Oasis, an extraordinary outdoor living environment designed to transform the backyard into a private luxury resort. This project brings together sophisticated architecture, resort-style water features, entertainment, recreation, fire, landscaping, and outdoor dining to create a destination built for both relaxation and unforgettable gatherings. At the heart of the design is a spectacular custom swimming pool and raised spa, surrounded by expansive light-toned decking. Dramatic raised water walls and cascading waterfalls add movement and sound, while integrated fire features create a striking contrast between fire and water. A generous tanning shelf with in-water loungers and umbrella provides the perfect place to relax without ever leaving the pool. Grand architectural columns frame the spa and pool entrance, creating an impressive transition into the aquatic area and giving the entire backyard a distinctive estate-like character. After sunset, carefully placed landscape, architectural, pool, and accent lighting completely changes the atmosphere, turning the property into a dramatic nighttime retreat. Entertainment is at the center of this backyard. A dedicated covered outdoor bar and grill pavilion creates a true open-air hospitality experience, complete with extensive granite countertops, bar seating, premium cooking equipment, refrigeration, storage, beverage service, sink area, vent hood, televisions, ceiling fans, recessed lighting, and integrated accent lighting. It is designed to function as a full outdoor kitchen and bar—not simply a place to grill. A separate covered pavilion, appropriately named “The Oasis,” provides an elegant outdoor dining area where family and guests can gather comfortably in the shade. Together, the dining pavilion, outdoor kitchen, pool, and entertainment areas allow large gatherings to flow naturally throughout the property. For cooler evenings, a dramatic sunken conversation lounge creates another destination within the backyard. Built-in perimeter seating surrounds a large linear fire feature, producing an intimate setting for cocktails, conversation, and late-night entertaining. The recreational side of the property is equally impressive. A private basketball court gives the backyard an active entertainment component, while a dedicated lawn and game area provides additional space for activities such as cornhole. These areas are intentionally separated from the pool and entertaining spaces while remaining connected to the overall design. Lush tropical-inspired landscaping surrounds the property with palms, ornamental grasses, shrubs, decorative planters, and layered planting beds. Walkways, architectural walls, decorative elements, and landscape lighting tie the individual spaces together and help create the feeling of being transported to a private resort. The Egyptian-inspired decorative elements add a truly distinctive personality to the project—from the monumental obelisk and sculptural pieces to the urns and architectural accents positioned throughout the landscape. Rather than creating an ordinary backyard, these features give The Oasis its own identity. The result is more than a pool and patio—it is a complete luxury outdoor lifestyle. Swim, soak in the spa, cook at the outdoor kitchen, enjoy drinks at the bar, dine under the pavilion, gather around the fire, play basketball, entertain friends, or simply relax among the landscaping.
