How TX2 Turns Online Hate & Trauma Into Art | Full Interview

“Everyday, I get death threats,” confesses genre-bending artist TX2 to Ryan J Downey in the third episode of Fire w/FIRE. In his most raw and uncensored interview yet, TX2 speaks freely about bullying, mental health, owning your identity, and the constant stream of online hate he receives for his unapologetic style. TX2 also gets intimate and reveals how he turned trauma into art — and why he’s using his platform to build a movement around finding healthy coping mechanisms as an alternative to self-harm. Love him or hate him, TX2 isn’t afraid to show the world who he really is. *** Chapters: 00:00 – Intro/ “A Huge Problem is Censorship” 01:52 – TX2’s Musical Roots and Heroes 04:27 – On Vulnerability and Sharing Darkness 06:15 – Fueling Art with Hate & the Vendetta List 08:45 – TX2 vs. Cancel Culture 11:12 – The Controversy: Ragebait or Real? 20:23 – Building the X Movement: Healing Through Musci 30:15– Touring, Fan Connection, and What Comes Next 34:05 – A Universe of Escape: Worldbuilding the TX2 Way 40:54 – TX2’s Final Message: Live to Win *** 🔥 Don’t miss episode one with Spencer Charnas ➡️    • Why Disney Censored Ice Nine Kills | Spenc...   🔥 Don’t miss episode one with M Shadows of Avenged Sevenfold ➡️    • Why Avenged Sevenfold Never Played It Safe...   🎧 Subscribe, share, and join the conversation in the comments. #tx2 #FreeSpeech #MentalHealth #LGBTQ #YouAreNotAlone #PunkRock #Interview **** About FIRE: The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression's mission is to defend and sustain the individual rights of all Americans to free speech and free thought — the most essential qualities of liberty.
