Stripping the static Supermarine Spitfire (Part 1)

After the final assembly photo-shoot, the static Spitfire needed to be dis-assembled ready for shipping to the customer. This is an extremely accurate replica containing original parts, it has been painted in this colour scheme to represent one of over a thousand that were sent to Russia during the war. Here is part one of a small series, starting with the removal of the 'spinner', wing tips, undercarriage fairing and ailerons. This video was filmed with a head mounted Gopro hero 3.
