A quick guide to how a BMX pivotal seat and seat post actually work. In this video I show you how to identify a pivotal seat, remove it with a 6mm Allen key, reinstall it, adjust the seat angle and line up the teeth correctly. I’ll also explain how the bolt inside the seat connects to the threaded pivotal post and why I like to add a little grease before putting everything back together. If you've got a pivotal seat on your BMX but have never taken it apart before, this should make the system a lot easier to understand.
