Densimetric Separation of Metals (15–40 mm) – GHIRARDUZZI

In this video we show our DM100 densimetric separator at work in the separation of mixed ground metals with a particle size ranging from 15 to 40 mm. The material shown in the video is very heavy and consists of a mix of metals including copper, brass, bronze, zinc, stainless steel, and aluminum. The DM100 densimetric separator separates the light fraction, containing aluminum, from the heavy fraction containing brass, copper, bronze, stainless steel, and zinc. In this way, both material streams can be valorized. When mixed together, they have no real recovery value, whereas once separated they can be recovered and reused in other applications. As can be seen in the video, the DM100 densimetric separator performs an excellent job on metals, producing on one side a light fraction containing aluminum and on the other side a mixed fraction composed of heavier metals.
