I Asked EcoFlow the Questions Owners Actually Care About

I spent a day with EcoFlow at Battersea Power Station in London to learn more about the new EcoFlow STREAM 5000 — but the battery itself wasn't the most important part of the conversation. We asked EcoFlow directly about Local Mode, Home Assistant and an Open API, customer support, DC-coupled expansion batteries, compatibility with first-generation STREAM systems, modular storage and the company's wider home-energy strategy. The theme connecting all of it is trust: will an EcoFlow home battery still work, remain controllable and receive support many years after installation? EcoFlow does not have every answer yet, but the event made its direction much clearer.
