He currently serves as Key Account Manager and Head of Training at RELUX, where he combines technical expertise with a commitment to education and professional development. Karim began his career after earning a Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur (FH) in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration from HTWK Leipzig, Germany. He subsequently held a variety of roles within the lighting industry, gaining valuable experience across both technical and commercial disciplines. Driven by a passion for lighting design, Karim went on to complete a Master’s Degree in Architectural Lighting Design at the University of Applied Sciences, Technology, Business and Design in Wismar, Germany. His academic and professional journey has given him a unique blend of engineering knowledge, design expertise, and business insight. With more than ten years of experience in teaching and training lighting professionals in software based lighting design, Karim is dedicated to delivering world class training programmes that empower users, enhance technical competence, and consistently exceed expectations.
