She Hid a Secret at the Lake. He Turns Into a Wolf in NYC | The Sportcat Show

Two authors, two very different books, and one night that went completely off the rails — in the best way. In hour one, S.E. (Samantha) Tschritter returns to The Sportcat Show with her brand-new romantic suspense novel The Lakeshore's Secret (released October 6, 2026): a hospital worker flees an attack in Chicago, hides out in a small Minnesota town, and walks straight into a poisoned grandmother, missing money, and a past that won't stay buried. Along the way she talks red herrings, body-disposal research, and why she is "not afraid to kill people" in her books. In hour two, Mark Leslie (Lefebvre) joins us to talk about A Canadian Werewolf in New York — the story of Michael Andrews, a successful author who turns into a wolf under the full moon and once woke up naked in Queens with a bullet hole in his leg. Mark shares the logistics of werewolf life, true ghost stories of the Great Lakes, his movie-trivia gift books, and the next book in the series, coming at the end of November: A Canadian Werewolf in London, Ontario. And in keeping with The Sportcat Show tradition, we close each hour with the paranormal Big Question — Bigfoot, cryptids, ghosts, and high strangeness. This week the answers delivered: a phantom cat that warned S.E. about a creep after her late husband died, ghost ships on the Great Lakes, and co-host Alison volunteering to go check on the monsters. 📚 FIND THE GUESTS S.E.
