I Taught My Camera to Find My Dog | OBSBOT Tiny 3

What happens when you teach a camera to look for your dog? Meet Moudi Cam. In this project, I combined the OBSBOT Tiny 3, OBS Studio, the Detect object-detection plugin, and Streamer.bot to build an automated pet camera for my livestream. When Moudi walks into the room, the system detects him and automatically brings his camera onto the stream. The Tiny 3 handles AI pet tracking, while Streamer.bot monitors his position and keeps track of whether he is present, lost, or being searched for. If Moudi leaves the frame, things get considerably more ridiculous. The system remembers which direction he was moving, commands the Tiny 3 through OSC, searches in that direction, checks the opposite side of the room, and can even perform a slower secondary sweep if he still hasn’t been found. The moment Moudi is detected again, Streamer.bot stops controlling the gimbal and the Tiny 3 automatically resumes AI tracking. And if the entire search fails? MOUDI OFF DUTY. This video follows the process of building the system, breaking it several times, discovering some wonderfully obscure OBSBOT behavior, and eventually creating a camera that can lose my dog, search for him, find him, and resume tracking without me touching anything.
