The Art of Reading Smoke with Phil Jose

Today we are watching two fire attacks in the same space. Reading Smoke tells us that we should see a rapid and sustained decrease in Velocity and Density when the fire attack is successful. The first fire attack does not change the Velocity and Density. The second one does. Reading Smoke is a skill and you should have an expectation of what will happen when you open the line for fire attack. If the objective is achieved you should see a rapid and sustained change in the fire behavior and, by extension, in the smoke. If you do not achieve that quickly you should re-evaluate the fire attack position and flow. You should win quickly.
