We were impressed by the "Three Whale Rocks," three 75-million-year-old rock formations, a valuable national geological heritage site. It also serves as a stunning viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the Phu Sing forest and the large reservoir, the Mekong River, and even Laos. We stayed near the Udon Thani train station and then rode a motorbike to the Phu Phan Noi mountain range, stopping at Than Ngam Waterfall and admiring the natural beauty of the cliffs at Phu Foi Lom. We then sipped egg coffee at the morning market in Vietnam Town in Udon Thani Province.
