Five days a week, Atlantic Endurance goes to sea to practice the first rule every mariner learns: don’t hit anything. Atlantic Endurance is an 82-ft offshore service vessel, built with Rhode Island Fast Ferry. We took the passenger seats out, put our autonomy stack in, and wired it directly to her jet drives. She is the first Subchapter L vessel approved by the U.S. Coast Guard for autonomous testing.
