I'm here to explore the course that wraps around the grand Niddry Castle, which once served as refuge for Mary Queen of Scots during one of the most famous incidents in Scottish History. Originally built as a 9 hole layout in the 1920's, the course disappeared for over 20's years throughout the 60s and 70s - I'm here to play the modern 18 hole design and tell the origin story of Niddry Castle Golf Club.
