PRO/II Unit Operations – Shortcut Distillation Column Part 1

Screencast demonstrating the use of PRO/II process simulation software – using the shortcut distillation column unit operation with the specification and calculation of only basic information. This model solves the basic material and energy balances for the column and uses the Fenske method to determine minimum number of equilibrium stages required for the column operated under total reflux i.e. infinite reflux ratio.
