WATCH: Nine years of U.S. Military members singing holiday classics

Each holiday season since 2015, PBS News has asked U.S. military service personnel around the world to join together in singing a classic holiday song. In 2022, service members presented a Hanukkah song, including one sung in Ladino, a Judeo-Spanish language. These moments of holiday cheer, sung by those at home and abroad serving our country, were produced along with a little-known unit at the Defense Department called the Defense Visual Information Distribution Service.
