Why Is This Version of Mono White Lifegain So Popular? | Standard BO1 MTGA Gameplay #mtgarena

It's always a good idea to check in with Lifegain from time to time. But for this video, instead of trying out some multi-color strategy or using some of the newly introduced cards for the archetype, I am taking a look at the stock version of Mono White Lifegain that I keep seeing pop up on Untapped.gg. I need to know if this list actually has some power behind it and whether or not it can keep up with decks in Mythic. So instead of going into Abzan or Orzhov and utilizing powerful cards like Amalia or Starscape Cleric, this deck is going with a more traditional approach. It's got a full 4 copies of Ajani's Pridemate, many people's favorite cad, 4 copies of Leyline of Hope, and a bunch of 1 CMC lifegaining creatures. And all this is backed up with a budget mana base of just 20 basic plains.
