1974 Suzuki T500 Titan. Ah...that beautiful blue haze

1974 Suzuki T500 Titan. Good running vintage 2 stroke bike. You'll love the looks you get from people as you ride by....most have never seen a 2 stroke street bike, and can't comprehend what they are hearing. :-) Plus the blue smoky, oily exhaust is a bonus. This particular bike was a revival we did a few months back. Which basically means when we acquired it (as part of a 10 bike collection), it was a full on barn find...hadn't ran in years. We did all the usual stuff needed to bring one of these back to life. Including an ultrasonic cleaning and checkout of the carburetors, petcock cleaning, ignition system tune-up (points filed, gaps set, timing set with dial indicator). We installed a handful of new parts like the battery, airbox rubber boot, new fuel lines, new kicker rubber, brand new shocks, grips, rear turn signals, and a brand new pair of tires / tubes. We use IRC GS11 tires on these bikes to keep the vintage tread look. And of course fresh gearbox oil, and two-stroke oil. The bike starts easily, and runs good. Paint is shiny but not perfect, seat looks good, front fender has some scratches from being down at some point in the bikes life (Its a 51 year old bike). Overall we think its a good looking vintage bike that you can enjoy riding, and taking to events, etc. Probably not going to win any trophies, but a good looking rider nonetheless. That said....please keep in mind this vintage motorcycle is over 50 years old. It is a machine, and it is an old machine. Its very possibly something could go wrong as soon as you get it home. We hope that doesn't happen, and we go over these vintage machines to locate any issues before they leave...but they are old motorcycles. You must know your way around a toolbox if you plan to own a 50+ year old motorcycle. We prefer you come look at the bike in person yourself before purchasing, but if not feasible, we can happily send extra pictures of whatever you'd like to see.
